There's no other portraiture experience quite like this one. Underwater, gravity releases its hold, fabric billows and flows, light bends in ways it simply can't on land — and something unexpected happens to the people in front of the camera. They let go. And that's when the magic happens.

Every session includes a posing coach and safety swimmer in the water with you throughout — so you can focus on the experience while we handle the rest. No prior modeling experience required. No swimming prowess necessary. Just a willingness to try something you've never done before.

Underwater Portrait Sessions

One hour:

Individual: $750
Couple: $950

  • Two outfits

  • Pre-production meeting over zoom or phone, or in our studio

  • Coaching for underwater modeling before and during shoot

  • One high-res, retouched image included

  • One 12” x 18” giclée canvas print included

NOTE: Makeup artists specializing in waterproof makeup are available and can be contracted separately. We can provide recommendations for trusted vendors we’ve worked with in the past.

TWO hour:

Individual: $950
Couple: $1,250

  • Four outfits

  • One 16” x 24” giclée canvas print included

Your Images

Your un-retouched images will be ready to preview in a private online gallery within five days of your session. We'll schedule a call or Zoom to go through them together and identify your favorites — there's no pressure, and no guesswork. Once you've made your selections, retouched files will be delivered to your gallery within 14 days, as high-resolution JPEGs ready for printing in any size.

Retouching:

Individually: $95/image

Package of 5 images: $425 ($85/image)

Package of 10 images: $750 ($75/image)

Package of 15 images: $975 ( $80/image)

Prints

We're happy to help you turn your images into something you can actually hang on the wall. Through our trusted print vendors, we can source canvas, acrylic, metal, wood, and fine art paper prints in virtually any size — framed or unframed. When the time comes, we'll guide you through the options. Or, if you prefer, take your retouched high-res files to the printer of your choice.

(Un-retouched images are not released.)

A Few Details

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking; the remainder is due by the shoot date.

  • Watermarked, un-retouched previews are for selection purposes only — no high-res un-retouched files are delivered.

  • Digital files may be used by the client for personal use, self-promotion, social media, and personal printing.

  • Images are not for resale as prints or digital files.

  • Aquatic Pictures may use images for self-promotion with client approval.

  • A commission agreement covering these details will be sent with your deposit request.
